Introduction

The Tai Khun live in northeast Myanmar (formerly Burma) and areas of northern Thailand. The Khun themselves are said to have a deep and strongly rooted culture of self-determination. Their homeland has been the center of civilization for many centuries.

Ministry Obstacles

The Tai Khun live in a country that is hostile to the gospel and there are probably no Christ followers among them. They will need to hear it from those outside their language and community.

Outreach Ideas

Pray for the Followers of Christ

Pray for the Entire People Group

Pray for Bible portions and gospel recordings to have a powerful impact on the Tai Khun.
Ask God to give the Tai Khun interactions with believers if and when they travel out of their own region; then ask the Holy Spirit to give them a spiritual hunger as only he can do to draw them to Jesus.
Ask the Lord to raise up and integrate workers into the Tai Khun in Myanmar.
