The Sagalla are found in the Taita Hills of Taita district, in the Coast Province. They are descendants of Bantoids and are believed to have originated from Niger- Congo around the eighteenth century.
They are very open to change.
Most are dedicated to ethnic religion, but there is a sizable Christian population among them.
The New Testament was published, and for that, we praise the Lord. They still need a complete Bible. The Old Testament is filled with stories that resonate with the hearts of cattle-herding people.
Pray for a complete and accurate Bible translation for the Sagalla Taitas.
Pray for the Holy Spirit to move powerfully in their churches and families.
Pray for hundreds of Sagalla Taita disciples to take Christ to the lost in Africa.
